moves ok but stops in half mile, wait 5 min and go and stop again,trans replaced

What is your question?

I start my car and go around 7 blocks, suddenly car stops moving engine keeps running, I stop the engine and wait five minutes and start engine and car keeps moving for more or less the amount of distance and the problem repeat I change transmission already with the same result.

What makes this problem better or worse?
