What is your question?
Myself and my mechanic cannot trigger my FJ stalling, but three people who have test driven it it stalls on them. There is little information online about the code P2129 With my mechanic ran the diagnostic. I’m trying to avoid a big bill from Toyota as I’m trying to sell my FJ And I’m hoping there is a simple & inexpensive fix
How long has your 2011 Toyota FJ Cruiser had this problem?
A few weeks

P2129 does not even show up in the Toyota shop manual. Double check your diagnostic trouble code, first. Secondly, stalling can occur due to multiple causes. Some of them might be: -ignition timing issues -ignition spark issues -fuel delivery issues -intake air issues - too much/too little -fuel/air ration issues -emission control concerns -transmission internal mechanical or electrical concerns Just total guesswork. A good technician with a high quality Toyota compatible diagnostic tool will be able to monitor component functions and find something that is not working properly.
