SRS stands for 'supplemental restraint system,' meaning airbags. When your SRS warning light comes on, it usually means that you airbags are failing your car's self-test for one reason or another. Perhaps they are expired (most airbags have an expiration date between 10 and 15 years after purchase), or their deploy mechanism is faulty. Either way, take it to a mechanic to have the problem checked out by an expert.
