What happens when the struts and shocks wear out (how does it affect the car over all?)

Hello, the function of a shock absorber is to keep the tires in contact with the road while driving. Weak shock absorbers will allow the wheels to bounce around and be unstable. Tires can get abnormally worn, knocking noises can occur.
