Hello, The camshaft position sensors report the position of the camshafts to the powertrain control module (PCM). The PCM then uses this information to determine when to spark and spray fuel into the individual cylinders. The camshaft position sensors will not show a constant reading, and neither a multimeter nor the human eye has the acuity to measure the speed of the pulses. This could be why you aren't seeing a reading. If the engine fired up with the exhaust off, it should fire up with the exhaust on, so think if there was anything you had to remove to get the exhaust back on. Also, did you place anything in the exhaust pipe or exhaust to prevent things getting into it? A rag? I'm certain you'll find the cause after a little back-tracking. Calm, thorough, and slow.
