What is your question?
Every time I use my air conditioner, water leaks into my passenger side floor board. I called midas and they told me it should be a simple fix and shouldn't cost anything. However, when I took it in they said that the tube is too small and there is too much condensation in the condensation box (I believe that's what they said)so they would have to take apart the dash to find the leak, which would be four hours of labor for $320. Any other solutions?

I would have a shop that is familiar with Suzuki's look at this. Many times you may save on repair bills by taking it to "midas" but these mechanics may never have seen this problem, and especially on this vehicle. However, if you were to go to a Suzuki Dealer, you may find a mechanic that has worked on the XL-7 since the day it came out and has seen this exact problem on this exact vehicle and knows what to do about it. So how much are you really saving? Take it to the dealer, ask them about this and see what they say.
YES WE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM THOUGHT I WOULD HAVE TO PAY ......I CHECKED TEH LINE AND WEEP HOLE TURNS OUT THERE WERE BUGS SIN THE LINE I SIMPLY FLUSHED THE LINE AND NOW WATER NO LONGER LEAKS INSIDE OF MY VEHICLE
Thank you. I'm taking it to the suzuki dealership tomorrow.
Good Call. Here in California repair shops are required to give you a written estimate before repairs are performed and I know that not the case everywhere. I suggest you tell them to diagnose for .5 - 1.0 hours but if it goes above that have them revise their estimate with you on the phone. This is to prevent them from going ahead and spending a few hours then you finding out when you pick up your vehicle. Let me know what happens and please review the shop so others know what kind of service to expect. http://repairpal.com/directory?address=65807&car_brand_names=Suzuki
