my power steering is not working right. my steering is really hard to turn

Hello, You are likely running very low on power steering fluid, or the power steering pump or steering rack is failing. Check the power steering fluid level. If it is low, add the appropriate fluid type as listed on the cap. If it is not low, pressure testing the high pressure line will determine which component has failed. The power steering pump should make plenty of pressure, so if low pressure or intermittent pressure exists, the pump is bad. If not, the rack ss bad.
