My 2004 Suzuki Vitara won't start it acks like dead battery no dash light

Hello, Not to sound insulting, but is the battery connected properly, and are the cables going to the right place, tight on both ends, making a good connection, the proper size? Was the battery connected backwards at any point? Have you tested the new battery? Answer those questions for yourself or in a reply, and check your fuses in the engine bay. Do you hear anything happening when you turn the key?
