Do all suzuki or Trackers have emissions sensor between tyran and motor like 02

want to know if suzuki or trackers got rid of some kind of emissions sensor that 2002s had between tranny and motor. I'd love pick up another 4x4 that doesn't have it sun or tracker. afraid to buy used as the makes for an expensive repair that cost me my 2002 that I loved. was it an o2 sensor or ear valve there?
