How to fix OBD Codes: P0171 P0174

What is your question?

How to fix OBD Codes: P0171 P0174 I have 2 new catalytic converters installed, the mechanic said to drive 100 miles for the computer to adjust. I drove 100 miles all ready and nothing happened. The car is in excellent shape except for these last steps. Passed 2 "Full" inspections except for these codes. Any ideas???

Check for a vacuum/intake leak. Spray brake cleaner or similar around the intake while the engine is running. If the rpms change you found your problem.

It sounds crazy but just keep driving. As long as the check engine light doesn't come back on, you will eventually go through a drive cycle (given repairs were performed properly).
