My clutch went out without warning in the middle of nowhere (thank heaven for Steve at Snake River Garage in Huntington, OR who rescued me and got my car moving without a tow)
There is a leak somewhere at the bleeder junction for my clutch. And when calling Suzuki Service to get this fixed I really got the runaround about whether or not this would be covered under the power train warrantee. I've been doing some searching and apparently I am going to be having a transmission sensor problem in the near future. Shouldn't these be covered?
This is copied directly off of the Suzuki website regarding the warrantee.
A fully transferable, zero-dollar deductible 100,000-mile/7-year powertrain limited warranty on all new vehicles sold after August 1, 2002.
Duration - Suzuki's powertrain limited warranty covers 100,000 miles or 7 years, whichever comes first.
Transferable - The powertrain warranty can be transferred from owner to owner, adding value at the time of resale or trade-in.
Deductible - There is no deductible, so Suzuki owners won't have an out-of-pocket expense.
My slave cylinder was leaking fluid into my transmission. Suzuki fixed it under the power train warranty. I thought my car was fixed so I went camping again, this time some strange noise and sounded like something small and metal started chunking around in there and my clutch would no longer engage I rolled backward in 1st gear. I checked at the bleeder screw and the thing is not in a fixed position at all. I can move it in all directions, and it is leaking fluid again. The dealer went out and picked up my car from the middle of nowhere, and is going to fix the cylinder again. Any thoughts on what that chunky noise may have been, or what other damage may have been caused from the slave cylinder coming loose.
