What is your question?
I get a vibration that you can feel between 40mph and 60mph. It is at it's worst at 50mph. The tires were checked for balancing and that was fine. The service center contacted Suzuki and they said the vibration is normal. This Suzuki didn't do this when it was first bought. It has 3500 miles on it and has been having the vibration for about 900 miles now. I drove two other 2008 Grand Vitaras and they didn't have this problem either. I have filed for and got a dispute hearing. Does anyone know what might be causing this problem? Has there also been any recalls on the 4wd system binding on sharp turns?

Can you feel the vibration in the steering wheel or more in the seat of your pants? I did not find any service bulletins for vibrations or for binding in turns. From what I can see your 2008 Suzuki Grand Vitara uses an "all wheel" drive system. This type of system should not "bind" on sharp turns. If it turns out your Vitara uses a "four wheel" drive system, these system are not designed to be in four wheel drive on dry pavement and will indeed bind on sharp turns under those conditions.
Hi there, was wondering if you managed to get your jeep sorted and what was the cause of it. We have exactly the same problem and drove several others which most of them appear to be the same but not all. Look forward to hearing from you.
i have a 2008 grand vitara and have had a vibration/low rattling noise since oct. 2009. dealer has replaced differentil, axle bearings, axles, muffler, trans bearing nothing helps. car also did not do it for the first 30,000 miles. just hoping something breaks so they know what to fix
Have you found any solution yet? I just bought a 2008 vitara that has over 30000 miles and it also vibrates like crazy at high speeds. Brought it back to the dealer today and they are replacing differential. But are you saying that is not going to solve the problem? No wonder suzukis are usually cheaper than others!
i have a 2006 suzukie aerio sx awd. it vibrates between 40-45 mph. it has 41.000 miles on it. taken it to the dealership multiple times. they say its common. after have all 4 car mounts and a brand new transmission it hasnt changed a thing.
its i dealing to hard prob not switching gears try outing transmission fluid in tyranny and or something seems to be loose sometimes timming is off
you may have bad spark plug coils have them check i had two bad coils with same problem you are having with your verona
I had exactly the same problem and the mechanics at my dealership refused to acknolwedge this problem. Apparently, this problem is not tangible enough to cause any concerns, Booooo Suzuki
Would love to know what the problem is, it appears to be in all or at least most of them that we have test driven. Maybe it's something that appears after a certain amount of mileage, like a manufacturing problem. It appears Suzuki USA are aware of the problem but in my opinion they will not recall the vehicles like Toyota have as it's not classed as a safety issue.
