Wont start, no lights nothing. New battery so its not that no light on dash board nothing

The cables were hooked up correctly both times. tried the jump before taking out battery and with new battery. Batteries had a spark so they were not dead
That is NOT the way to check a battery,but it is a way to BLOW multiple fuses and maybe fry the computer IF you did that with the batteries still connected to the vehicles battery cables! TEST ALL FUSES!
Yes nothing jump start did nothing as well cant move the shift nothing enginge light was not on
were the cables connected backwards when jump starting it,or was the new battery hooked up backwards (reverse polarity)?

When tapped with a metal rod to make sure it wasnt dead it had a spark
