What is your question?
Our 2000 Grand Vitara's A/C - Heater Blower speed switch recently stopped working. The air would blow out fine when we "inherited" the car, but a couple months after using the air, the air would blow out intermittently. (Hit and miss) and (air flow was fine). If we pressed in or put pressure on the blower speed switch, the air would blow out. When we let go of the air speed switch, the air would cut off. Checked the fuse(s). They seem to be OK. SO...could this be a faulty wiring/ground issue? I want to check behind the panel, but can't figure out the easiest way to access it. (Don't want to unscrew anything I don't have to!) Any help would be appreciated! ....and thanks in advance!

This sounds like an issue with the panel or fan switch. Get a good repair manual and figure out how to get that panel off, and do it slow ans easy. You don't want to disturb the wiring too much, or you may inadvertently "fix" the problem. Once you have the panel out, leave it connected and turn the fan on and tug, push and pull on the wires and switch to see if you can duplicate the problem and identify the problem. Try here for a manual: http://bit.ly/mitchell_repair_manuals_online
Did you ever find out what this was or get fixed? I have the exact same problem
We never did find out. My ex-wife eventually traded the car in. I just realized my original post was 11 years ago! Haha!
