What is your question?
When I first got my car my iPhone was set up so I could talk through my CarPlay. It was working fine for awhile but when I would be talking to someone I could hear them but they couldn’t hear me. I tried redoing my iPhone setup and know I can’t use my iPhone to talk through my car. I have to use my iPhone to talk. I talked to several people and they have the same problem as me. Even my daughter who bought a new 2024 Subaru Crosstrek limited is have the same problems.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Nothing still the same
How long has your 2024 Subaru Crosstrek had this problem?
1 months

Hi this is Dusty, I'm one of the auto experts on RepairPal's Car Genius team. The behavior you described sounds like a software issue, either in the vehicle's infotainment system or the iPhones themselves. I would start with checking to make sure your phone has the latest iOS (Settings>General>Software Update) version available. If the phone requires an update, remove the connection from your iPhone's Bluetooth list (Settings>Bluetooth>Touch the circled 'i' in blue to forget the connection) and do the same in your Subaru's Bluetooth list. Then reconnect them, if the problem persists, then I'd recommend setting up an appointment at your local Subaru dealer for diagnosis. If you have any questions, give us a call at (877) 913-1554
