What is your question?
My dog has chewed through the red and yellow wire inside the cable harness for the driver seat and the air bag warning light came on right after. The red wire just had bite marks but the yellow wire is completely chewed through and isn’t connected anymore..

Hi, my name is Devin. I am an auto repair expert with the Car Genius team here at RepairPal. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your Crosstrek. Damaged wiring in your driver seat harness, especially involving airbag components, is a safety-critical issue. To fix it, you'll need to replace the damaged wiring harness. Replacement is recommended instead of repair in this case to ensure the integrity of the airbag circuit. Given the importance of airbag functionality, it's best to have a professional perform the repair or inspect it after you have completed it to ensure safety. They may also need to clear the airbag warning light with diagnostic equipment. If you need more advice, have any other questions about your vehicle, or would like to get connected to a RepairPal Certified shop near you, we have you covered. Give us a call at 877-913-1554, and we will happily help you out!
