I was out today and as usual my car was fine. Tonight I was going out. I got into my 2014 fortwo smart car and the key will not turn in the ignition. What could it possibly be?????
What makes this problem better or worse?

First try turning the steering wheel while you try and turn the key. It may be in a wierd locked spot. Also make sure the car is in park. It's possible the key is damaged or the ignition tumbler is bad. Alex
Make sure the key is going all the way in the lock cylinder - due to the positioning of the key - it is very possible fir foreign objects to fall into lock cylinder. It doesn't take much to keep the key from being inserted properly.
