Hello, I think you have a bad wheel bearing or a locked up brake caliper. With the vehicle lifted, spin that tire, press the brakes, release the brakes, spin that tire again. If it spins when the brakes are not pressed, stops when the brakes are pressed, then spins when the brakes are released, I would not be concerned about the brakes. However, the tire should be able to continue spinning without applying constant force. So, if you spin it and it stops as soon as you let go, your brakes are probably dragging/not fully releasing. -inspect pad thickness and mounting hardware Now, push in on the front side of the tire, and pull out at the back, do the reverse, go back and forth with that a few times with a good amount of force. Movement in the wheel? -wheel bearing likely failed Feels like grinding when you turn it? remove the brake caliper, hang it to prevent it from pulling on the rubber brake hose, and spin the tire again. Still grinding? -bad wheel bearing.
