Not really sure what your question is. A condenser can't rub on anything unless the fan is hitting it. Do you mean compressor?
My heater blower is making a loud grinding noise like its rubbing or hitting something when the fan is put in but when I turn it on while it's taken out it doesn't do it. I don't understand why it's doing that. But it's 10 degrees out and I have no heat.
There is something obstructing the fan or the fan motor is bad. We can take a look at it for you anytime if you would like us to. WE do a complimentary inspection at no charge.
