The safest is using a professional grade puller but you must take extreme care because you run the risk of breaking windshield glass. I am left wondering why are they out of alignment? Internal wiper motor park switch malfunctioning? Or mechanical wear to a shaft? Best of wishes. Michael Moran Jr.
