What is your question?
Id like to do the brake work on my own 2007 Scion TC.Any suggestion on tools I may need? Recommended rotors and pads? How do I replace the rotors and pads? The rotors that came on the car are terrible since day one. They rust fast and the rear rotors squeek like crazy. Please give me some advice on how I can do the work myself.

The wheel lug nuts are 21mm, the caliper bolts are 12mm or 14mm, the caliper mounting bolts are 17mm or 19mm. With theses basic sockets and wrenches you can do a lot of work on any Toyota, Lexus, Scion, Acura Honda or Nisan. *mm an 10 mm sockets are also common to all these cars. To replace the rotors loosen the wheel nuts, jack up and safely support the vehicle. Remove the wheels, remove the brake calipers, remove the 2 brake caliper mounting bolts, the brake discs can then be removed from the hub/bearing assembly, if they are stubborn to remove two holes are threaded with 8mm x 1.25 thread pitch bolts you can use the bolts to extract the rotor from the hub. Autozone have many free on line workshop manuals on line once you register on there website (for free). There is a company that independent auto repair shops "buy" their information from that offer a very reasonable service to do it yourselvers. You get a one year subscription to year make and model specific repair procedures, service bulletins, component locations, wiring diagrams ect.... great quality information same as the professionals have ,much better than generic workshop manuals from parts stores, much cheaper than the factory manual. http://www.alldatadiy.com/ Scion owners are very much car enthusiastic some great Scion websites out there. Brake pads that are good performance for price Wagner Thermoquite. Look at www.rockauto.com for parts.
Pat - Thanks or the info..I just finished removing the calipers and the rotors perfectly!! Now how should I replace the pads? Do I have to spray anything on the pads? or do anything to these new rotors? I purchased Brembo reaplacement rotors and GranSport6 composite pads from tirerack.com. Should I place everything back on exactly as I took it off?
