What is your question?
The repair shop has indicated there is a switch on the break that may have been hit by a foot when getting out of the car, causing the break light to stay on and the cruise to not work. Where can I find that and what does it look like? Thanks

Hello, the cruise control will not operate when the brake light is on -- due to some fault in the braking system either hydraulically or electronically. Brake warning lights will come on typically for the following reasons: 1) Parking Brake engaged, not released fully 2) Low fluid level in the master cylinder (where the brake fluid is kept) 3) Low fluid level sensor disconnected or failed - at the master cylinder itself 4) Brake pedal goes so low due to hydraulic concern / leak Alternatively -- if you mean that your BRAKE LIGHTS in the back of the car stay on, then, yes, this is controlled by a switch at the brake pedal area. And yes, this must be resolved also before the cruise control will work.
Hello, yes the brake lights on the back of the car are staying on. Where can I find more information on the switch the repair shop was referring to? He said it was possible that it needed to be reset due to being hit by a foot when getting out of the car? If I knew what it looked like, I might be able to save myself a trip to the repair shop, Thanks
