When I turn on the car, I am unable to see the mileage. If door is ajar, I can see that, but not mileage. Any thoughts on how to fix this? I need mileage for registration and inspection purposes. Thx

Sounds like a possible problem with illumination of the instrument cluster. Even if the information is there, it may need to be lit up. Or, the instrumentation perhaps has malfunctioned. Either replacing bulbs or repairing the unit will be in order.
