07 saturn sky redline turbo loosing power in higher shifting gears

My 07 Saturn sky redline turbo 5 speed starts loosing power after you have driven it about 10 minutes and you start shifting gears from 1st to 2nd gear,3rd etc. RPM goes up & speed goes down low. then once you go back to first & mess with changing gears back & forth & go back to 12st then go to 2nd its fine.
1st gear & the vehicle starting out is normal its just once you come up on a light & have to start out from 1st to 2nd gear & that's when it does it .No noises or no leaks

The transmission allowing the RPM to spike independently of vehicle speed says there may be an electronic control malfunction, or the transmission may be slipping. If it is a CVT transmission, the band bay be worn out.
