Should I buy a 2018 Ram ProMaster with an oil leak at the oil filter adapter?

I am considering purchasing a 2018 Ram ProMaster with 33,000 miles; however, the vehicle inspection discovered an oil leak at the oil filter adapter. Is this something that should stop me from purchasing? I asked the mechanic why this would be happening at only 33,000 miles and he said the ProMaster is known for this problem. I would appreciate any education you could provide. Thank you.
