What is your question?
2025 Ram 1500 3.6 E torque motor, new 9 moths old 5000 miles burned through 3 gallons of coolant so far, no leaks was pressure tested with negative results, also the first cold start of the day 32 degrees and lower I have a loud screaming squeal from my motor for about 15 seconds, not the belts they have been tested. this new truck has spent a total of two weeks in the dealer shop and I'm frustrated and angry with this situation. the dealer said (we don't know what's wrong) wait for the recall.
How long has your 2025 Ram 1500 had this problem?
More than a year

Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! First off your frustration is completely valid and frankly an understatement for what you're dealing with on a brand new truck. Three gallons of coolant disappearing with no visible leaks on a 5000 mile vehicle is a serious red flag that needs real answers not a "wait for the recall" shrug from the dealer. Coolant vanishing without external leaks can point toward an internal engine issue like a head gasket or intake manifold problem which on a brand new vehicle is unacceptable. The cold start squeal that's not belt related is a separate concern that also deserves a real diagnosis. At this point I'd strongly recommend contacting Ram customer care directly and looking into your state's Lemon Law protections since two weeks in the shop on a new truck with unresolved issues is exactly what those laws are designed for. Don't let this one go quietly! If you need any further advice or want help finding a trusted RepairPal shop in your area, please feel free to call us at 877-913-1554
