What is your question?
My truck won’t start but I had my battery tested and it is good and connections are both clean with no corrosion. When I turn the key in the ignition nothing happens. No dash lights, no cranking and I also can’t shift into neutral to tow it or any other gear. Had someone come out to try reprogramming a new key after some suggestions and his reader wasn’t getting any data just kept saying nothing found. He did hook up his battery to mine to attempt a jump and still nothing happened. Occasionally while hooked up to the other battery the dash would flicker on but would immediately turn off. I have taillights and headlights and I can lock and unlock the door using the buttons on the door but my key fob does nothing. I even bought a new battery to try and still nothing happened. I tried a new WINN module as well and still nothing. Please let me know any suggestions.

Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Oooo! I love a good mystery! Since you've checked the battery, connections, and tried various troubleshooting steps without success, the issue may lie with the ignition switch. The lack of response when turning the key suggests a potential problem with the ignition circuit. Additionally, the inability to shift gears or program a new key further indicates a deeper electrical issue. Have you checked the grounds, tried another battery, or checked the electrical portion of the ignition switch? Thos might be some of a few leads to start with. Otherwise, some deep diagnostics will need to be performed. If you have any other questions, please call us at 877-913-1554! We'll gladly find you a certified RepairPal shop in your area!
