If I replace EBCM on my 97 Pontiac Transport, does it need to be reprogrammed?

Hello, I do not show a relearn or adapt procedure for it, however, before you replace it, check the connector for the EBCM, and ensure there is no physical damage. After everything is cleaned and inspected, use a multi-meter to inspect the voltages to and from the sensors, and compare those readings to the data streaming to your scan tool. The EBCM may be misinterpreting the data is receives, or sending faulty values. Let me know.
