Engine/idle surges up and down when braking? Then stalls.
What makes this problem better or worse?
After it warmed up.
How long has your 1994 Pontiac Trans Sport had this problem?
Since our fuel pump replaced, driven twice.

Surging of the engine during braking is related to the fluctuation of engine vacuum the power brake booster is using. There may be a vacuum leak somewhere. Check also the PCV valve. If this is causing a stall, other engine performance issues could be compounding the concern, and hands on comprehensive testing is needed.
