What is your question?
It’s been leaking like down by the water pump we think but I have been putting antifreeze in it and then the heat will work fine but now it’s just cold air coming out of the heater
What makes this problem better or worse?
For a while, it was adding antifreeze to it but now it just don’t seem like it matters. It gets a little warm when it gets low on fluid and then when I put it back in, it goes back down, but now it’s getting it even in the middle after a little while, once to run slow, keep it goes up a little bit.
How long has your 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix had this problem?
About a month

Hello, first if you have a leak - stop driving until you repair it! You're not doing anything good for any part of the car by continuing to drive with a known and damaging failure. Second - if you have a coolant leak, don't expect your heater to work properly. A heater requires the engine to get to operating temperature with a fully functioning cooling system that is under pressure and forcing hot coolant through the heater core with no air pockets to be found. If you have a leak, all of that is in question - and you'll get cold air perhaps. It's hard to weigh in on "what if's" because it doesn't appear that you're approaching the problem with an intention to resolve it. I would suggest resolving the coolant leak, filling the cooling system with the appropriate amount and concentration of coolant, purging the air and rechecking all. https://repairpal.com/auto-repair-near-me Click the link or call us at 877-913-1554.
