What is your question?
I'm attempting to replace the gaskets to my timing cover water pump and oil pan. Just need help figuring out the steps to pull oil pan and what parts will need to be replaced. I have water pump, timing, the shaft seal, another gasket that came with kit. I was told car leaks oil when sitting for to long. Came out of the store the other day after doing some errands and found a large puddle of oil underneath the car. Was also told timing chain was replaced but old gaskets were reused... Is this repair the correct fix for what's happening?
What makes this problem better or worse?
Adding oil, sitting to long, and oil additives
How long has your 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix had this problem?

Hello, as far as steps to take, you will need to obtain a workshop manual. Try Mitchell one or AllData, for two examples of places you can find resources on the Internet. Or try a local auto parts store near you who might have a manual to help you with. As far as the repair being the proper fix, it requires testing to find out for sure. Is it possible that a timing cover reseal will fix this concern? Perhaps. But what pressure test has been performed to find out where the coolant is coming out of? Too many questions - it takes some hands on assessment to figure it out. Use this link to find some shops near you that can help with your concern: www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
