check engine light turns on but code reader does not read any faulty codes and car wont start. took out battery and put battery back in and car will not start car was fine befor i took out battery

Let me get this straight, your car was starting fine, you took out the battery and put it back in and now the car won't start. Correct? When you try and start the car what does the engine do? Does it do nothing, does it crank over, or does it start and die? Why did you take the battery out?
