What is your question?
I have a 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix limited edition 3.8 V6 and I'm having some ignition trouble. The key doesn't turn all the way off, but it comes out of the ignition. It appears to be a common problem but no one has answers. The car will be started and I go to shut the car off and the key stops one notch from totally off. It let's me pull my keys out but it never stops running the battery and it keeps making my battery die. I just replaced the alternator and battery about 6 months ago, so I dont think that is the problem. I have an idea that I can just replace the ignition and the problem should be fixed, but I just want the opinion of someone who is a mechanic. Thank you, Elizabeth G.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Well nothing, it messes up and kills my battery.
How long has your 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix had this problem?
Awhile, it didn't used to do it every time, but now it does.
