My dealership ran a diagnostic for check engine light and it came back with code P1811 (or so they say).
Two things were then recommended to be fixed;
(1) Mass Air Flow Meter
(2) EVAP Purge Control Solenoid
So this seems to be wrong. My research indicates I need a Transmission Pressure Control Solenoid. It is my understanding a code such as P0449 would indicate their suggested fix of the EVAP Purge Solenoid.
Either way I read the DTC codes, the '8' indicates Transmission not Auxiliary Emission Controls.
Thoughts?
