can the mass air flow sensor be repaired or is replacement the only option

replacement is the only option. cleaning it does next to nothing as the carbon impregnates itself on the actual sensor and cannot be totally removed. Roy

there is a can mass air flow cleaner at any parts store remove it and clean it if that does not work then u need to replace it

there is NO repair to the MAP sensor its a replace ONLY
