Modern cars have an electronically controlled valve to control and regulate the idle speed. Either the valve has failed, the electronics that control the valve are not functioning correctly or something else like a vacuum leak or ignition failure may be causing the car to stall. Basic diagnostic test are needed to determine what is wrong.
