where is the blower motor resistor ?

It's behind the glove box, right at the firewall. You need to move a computer out of the way (airbag related, so be careful and pull approp. fuses first) and remove the blower motor itself. It's tucked in tight, required some creative (and uncomfortable) positioning to get to it without a universal joint...
