We got the idea that there’s too much air built up that won’t let the heat work in the cabin, just constantly blows cold. I’ve had the hoses changed, the thermostat changed.
How long has your 2001 Pontiac Grand Am had this problem?

Not sure what too much air built up means. If you mean you have an air pocket in the cooling system then you need to bleed it out. You can buy or rent a pressure bleeder which puts the cooling system in a vacuum. You then fill with coolant and don't have to worry about air pockets. Alex
