my temperature gage is not working, i dont know why, do you?

Is it not working at all? Warm your car up and see if it moves a little bit...say stuck around 100 degrees. Your thermostat may hae failed in the open position which would cause your temp guage to appear not to work. if this is the case then install or have a new thermostat installed.
