What is your question?
I smell gas when the car is idling, turn on the air conditioner or heater, and after it is turned off. There are not any visible leaks that I can see. What should I look for?

Had same issue...ended up being caused by a bad gasket connection at very top of intake manifold near the firewall..unfortunately this is a known recurring issue...gasket becomes loose thus letting fuel escape from the pipes this gasket connects...smells the strongest right under the drivers side seat. Good luck!
You should look very closely at all of the fuel system components of your 2001 Pontiac Grand Am. Any moisture or residue out of the ordinary should be considered a leak. Fuel system components extend the length of the vehicle, form the engine in the front the the fuel tank in the rear. If you cannot thoroughly inspect all the fuel system components yourself, perhaps you should have a qualified technician in your area look over you vehicle for your. On most cars built after 1996 a fuel leak can often times trigger a "check engine light". If the light has been or is on any stored fault codes should be read, diagnosed, and repaired.
Same here. Replaced fuel injector 2 codes gor gas cap kept coming on replaced over and over. Love the car but paid too much to have all these problems and now find out they were all recalls. Now my car is stuck in New Mexico cause they want over 4000. To fix it again... Poniac should have to fix it....ya think. ..??
