Assauming that the light you're talking about is a warning light in the gauge cluster, either the park prake is not fully releasing so the park brake warning light is staying on or you're maybe low on brake fluid causing the brake fluid warning light to stay on. Make sure you have enough fluid in the brake fluid reservoir and that your park brake is fully released and there's nothing hanging up the pk. brake warning switch. If you can, try to get at the pk brake switch and disconnect it, see if the light goes out.
