IF this is an automatic it may have a sealed tranny. In that case u need to car up so all four tires are off the gorund and it is level. then crawl under and there is on the passenger side of the transmission there is a plug that u remove and if fluid come out then it is full enough. oh ya there is no dipstick
Open the hood. The dipstick is between the engine block and the driver side fender well. The dipstick should be yellow and sits in a black tube that extends to the transmission.
There is a check bolt in the side of the transmission pan. You have to remove that bolt in order to check the fluid. It also require the car to be hot and running while on a flat surface. So you must be on an extremely flat solid surface and Jack all 4 sides of the vehicle and place them on Jack stands. You have to run through all the gears down to first and back into park. Crawl under the car with the car still running. Remove the bolt. If fluid comes out its okay. If fluid doesn't come out check to see if the fluid is even to the hole. This may require a flash light. If it's even to the hole I say leave alone. But if not and its considerably lower than the hole add until fluid comes out of the check hole. This is anything but a sealed unit that of which requires regular maintenance every 20,000-30.000 miles. Neglecting this part can ruin your entire transmission system and cost you thousands of dollars. Spend the 300$ and have the service. Use mercon transmission fluid only. Watch the service people like a HAWK.
