I put in 1qt. of transmission fluid, what could be the problem?

to check the trans fluid the car must be hot or turn car on leave runing for 10-15 min. then check trans dip stick withe the car still running. add small amounts at a time to not over fill. if the light still shows up u might have to reset it in the on board computer.
