I recently had the clutch master cylinder replaced should I have had the clutch slave cylinder replaced at the same time?

I usually recommend replacing the master and slave at the same time since whatever made the master go bad (age, contaminated fluid?) could have damaged the slave too. Besides, the slave is usually the cheap part of the system and easy to replace.
