Why wont my steering wheel come back after i turn (it's not the fuse)

What is your question?

Every time I make a turn my steering wheel stays at the spot that I left it... I have to force the wheel back just so I can go stright again

What makes this problem better or worse?

Note:my right strut has to be replaced but it's not at its end yet

How long has your 2008 Pontiac G5 had this problem?
