2008 Pontiac G5 starts and runs fine. After driving and then shutting the car off it will not restart. No crank no start. Let the vehicle sit for a few hours and then it will fire back up. I'm lost
What is your question?
Changed starter/solenoid. Charged up battery. Nothing changes. I can drive it, just cant shut it off unless I want to stand around for a few hours. Bizarre.
What makes this problem better or worse?
When the engine is warm

"No Crank" - you have to find out -- while the concern is occurring -- what is causing no power to get to the starter motor. This may take tracing backwards to the point where you lose electrical power. Hands on testing is needed.
