I live in Texas, it's always hot. Lately my g5 2.2 standard is running hot. Fluids are topped off. It's worse when idle. I dont want to blow my motor (I love this car). Its also hit 150k what needs to be done?
What makes this problem better or worse?
Highway driving and idle

200 degrees is not a problem. Why do you think it's "running hot"? Although the thermostat will open at 180 degrees, 200 degrees is well within normal "range" of operational temperatures.
