Pontiac boneville 2003 wont turn off,key stuck,able to shift,wheel isn’t locked

I have a Pontiac boneville 03 the car won’t inject key nor will go fully into off position but stays in accessories I disconnected battery to save it and inject the key through ignition but while it’s off the wheel isn’t locked, a screwdriver can turn ignition to start position and I can shift into any gear I’m not sure what it is maybe transmitter or ignition but not sure any ideas ?
