removal of headrest

Usually, for headrests, you depress the tab that allows you to adjust headrest height, and you pull it all the way out of the seat. I do not know of anything that would prevent this on this vehicle. If this does not work for you, seek local guidance at a shop near you. Most would be willing to look at it with you and help out without getting too involved.
