Vibration and sputtering started out of the blue, have had car for one year with no other issues, a perfect ride.........was owned by my mechanic and was taken good care of........The car has a total of 112,000 miles and the engine was rebuilt at 65,000 miles. The only other issue I've had in past year was having the blower motor replaced. This came out of the blue.
How long has your 2002 Pontiac Bonneville had this problem?

If it's a great car and what needs to be repaired is cut and dry, I'd do it. You didn't list what is being done for $1,000. Either way, if it can definitely be fixed for $1,000 I'd do it. Think about how much a car payment is. You would end up spending thousands more per year for a few years and still need repairs and upkeep. It's generally always cheaper to keep a paid off car going then to get into another car with a payment Alex
